You’ve probably seen more than one of those “Death of…”
reports lately… but there is one method online that
will never die.

Email marketing.

You see, all the guru’s talk about the ‘changes’ taking
place online and how a lot of methods that worked
a few years, even a few months ago (!) don’t work
anymore… well… I agree, things are definitely changing
but….

how are they delivering those “Death of…” messages to you?

By email.

Sometimes those message get you to click on a link
to a blog or special report etc… but the way they get
that link to you, the delivery mechanism, is STILL email.

If anyone tries to tell you that email marketing is “dead"… watch out
and keep your hand on your wallet !

If you read your emails and can’t wait for them to arrive,
that’s proof positive it still works!
I found this recently and thought it might interest you
too because it’s 100% passive income

Targeted niche sites will become more important as Google
changes it’s algorithim yet again to give higher rankings
to micro-subniches… and here’s one easy way to get in step
with the changes.

This is a pretty slick script… but it’s more than a script,
it’s a system you can use to build unlimited targeted eBay
sites that pay you passive income through ebay’s affiliate
program.

The Case Studies are well done, the script is easy to use
and the site is informative without hype.

Could this replace AdSense as the NEXT BIG passive income
money-maker?

Just maybe. I would not be surprised to see a new product
out soon with someone claiming

“I made 6-Figures this year as an eBay Affiliate!”

Hey, you never know! It could be you

In any case, the reason this script was developed and how
it was actually created is a good story,

Click here to check it out!
Why The Market Comes First…

If you’re doing any kind of business online then you know that it isn’t as easy as most ‘guru’s’ say it is.

But, it isn’t that hard either

Today’s message is about the very basic things you need to do business online and the order in which you need to have them in place.

It seems obvious, but the very first thing you need to do business online is a product to promote.

It doesn’t matter if it’s your product or someone else’s product you’re selling as an affiliate… you need something to promote if you’re going to make money online.

I have stated in previous messages that the hardest part of marketing online is finding a hot product to promote.

Where do you find a hot product?

Look first to the market… find a market that is rabid, crazy and out-of-control… or as Gary Halbert calls them, “a starving crowd".

Your market must be very hot… selecting the product becomes a piece of cake if you look at the market first.

Let me give you an example… one of the hottest markets right now is for secrets on how to generate highly quality traffic to your site.

After all, without the ability to get those rabid, crazy people in this market to your site, what good is it?

Let me give you another example… a hot market right now is for music online… iTunes and Rhapsody are cashing in on this huge market.

All you do is find the market… and match the product to the market demand as close as possible.

Once you find the market, selecting the product to sell is easy.

A so-so product sold to a HOT market will always out-perform a great product being sold to a luke-warm or complacent and declining market

Find the hot market first and then find a product to fill the demand.

Most people get this important step wrong… they seek out a great product only to find out later that there is no demand in that market… even for a great product.

Don’t let that happen to you… find the market first.

THE ONE SECRET

Did you know that there is one marketing and selling secret and is the ONE most powerful secret you could ever learn, yet less than 1 in 1000 marketers ever really understand it?

This secret has depth… and you really need to understand the nuances of it before you’ll ever make a penny online or offline

Ready?

Here it is:

——————-
THE ONE SECRET: “98% of all human beings buy products or services emotionally and then justify those purchases logically.” ——————-

Investors and traders in stocks and commodities are notorious for making decisions that amount to thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars based on limited, emotionally charged and spurious information!

Your customers do the same thing.

It is amazing to me that individual investors would purchase ten, fifteen or more thousands of dollars in stocks based on a cursory knowledge of those companies operations, management capability, strategy for gaining market share, marketing plans or any number of factors that affect the company’s long term potential.

I have met a lot of investors who would investigate every possible way to save 30 cents on their favorite brand of cookies at the local market and buy fifty thousand dollars worth of stock in a company based on a single bullish newspaper article!

It’s crowd psychology- they don’t want to be the only one who doesn’t have the stock that they think everyone else already owns!

Even those investors that would never dream of entering into a business deal without the proper due diligence would buy thousands of dollars worth of stocks on tips, rumors and broker recommendations alone!

Got the idea?

The bottom line is this: People buy things FIRST because they w-a-n-t them and SECOND because they n-e-e-d them!

If you live in a big city like Boston, New York, San Fran, etc you’ll see many sidewalk demonstrations. Why do crowds develop around these street vendors? For the entertainment value! But, as they watch the skill at which the demonstrator uses the product, they see themselves ‘using it’ too, creating a ‘gap’ or a desire that now needs to be satisfied by buying the product. It’s a very effective way to sell.

The biggest problem selling from sidewalk demonstrations is breaking the ice- getting the first person to walk up and “buy".

Most people don’t want to make that first move because they are afraid of making a mistake. The sidewalk demonstrators know this so they ‘plant’ two or three people in the ‘audience’ who at the conclusion of the demonstration immediately, at the demonstrators ‘call to action’, step up and buy one. As soon as one or two people from the crowd step up and buy a line begins to form behind them - all waiting to purchase the product - kind of like ‘follow the leader’… it’s an amazing spectacle of crowd psychology in action.

Hard sell IS NOT necessary, when you understand, fully, what makes people buy!

In fact, you have very little “selling” to do.

If your product is well presented, has a good offer (by direct response standards) and the price is justified in the copy, your job is over… let your customer sell themselves!

I had a call recently from someone who said he’s afraid to market online because a lot of the information he wants to sell is already available for free.

I have always said, and most experts agree, that, “People buy for their reasons, not ours".

And that is true.

So how should we look at this problem with a winning attitude?

First, nothing EVER sells itself. Just because you have it on your shelf or website, doesn’t mean anyone will buy it. Even if it’s free, most people will treat it as ‘free’ and totally under-value the information and possibly treat it as “worthless” because they got it for free!

Right?

Listen carefully,

“THERE HAS TO BE ONE OR MORE REASONS FOR THEM TO BUY IT.”

Got that? Read it again in case you flew by it and did not give that sentence the respect it deserves.

Second, you better give your prospects EVERY REASON you can think of to buy your product so they can pick the one’s that appeal most to them.

Third, NOTHING is really “FREE” anyway… (except maybe ‘air’).

Yes, there is a lot of FREE information on the Internet. But, is it really FREE? Of course not.

In some cases it’s already been paid for through advertising dollars. In other cases it will still cost you TIME to search for the information. TIME is even more valuable than money, if you ask me- once it runs out you just can’t make any more of it! But…you can always make more money!

I suggested to my young inquirer that people value information not just for the words alone, but also the way it is:

1. Delivered;

2. Formatted; and

3. Organized.

Some people like information delivered by ink on newsprint.

Some people like information delivered by sound waves from a radio. Still others like to read information in magazines or books or listen to information on audio tapes or read it on web pages.

People like information delivered, formatted and organized in many different ways, not just one or two.

The question he should be asking is: “Why should people buy my information on the Internet, over all the other available ways it’s currently being delivered, formatted and organized?”

Competition (even from those who ‘give it away’) is NOT the problem. The problem is creativity.

Your information does no good sitting on a shelf. Find a way to package it and the way your customer wants it delivered and make yourself a profit.

You cannot ‘lock-up’ content. Content is meant to be shared and, if you can, make a profit from it in more ways than one.

I believe one of the obstacles that keep people from succeeding is one very basic fear: The fear of making big money.

If you don’t think that is a fear that is stopping you then you should read the accounts of those people who have succeeded in business.

Some of them feared making money because their parents were not high earners. If they made more money than their Father, they reasoned, what kind of son or daughter would they be?

Others fear that making big money would ‘change’ them somehow and they would not be the same person anymore- the same person that people know, love and care for.

If they changed, they fear that no one would love them like they used to. The fear of making big money is REAL. You may not believe you are influenced by this fear, but think about it for a minute.

Maybe what you really fear is ‘change’… and if you made big money it would change you and your life.

That is why most lottery ‘millionaires’ end up spending or losing most of their winnings a year or so after they’ve won… they seek ‘normal’ lives again where nothing ever changes.

It’s not hard to make big money… the hard part is giving yourself permission to make it and keep it. Yes, I said give yourself PERMISSION to start making big money.

The game of business is an internal one… just like golf, or becoming an Olympic athlete. The problem is inside us… lack of confidence and self-esteem are the enemies.

Don’t let fear of making money stop you. Start believing in yourself, check your self-esteem and make a wise informed and profitable choice for your future.
The number one rule in effective email marketing is to ALWAYS capture every email address of every possible prospect. Here is the way to get started building a large customer list to promote your products and make more money in the process.

First you will need to sign up for a paid membership at a respected autoresponder service. This is not very expensive. It usually costs no more than $20 per month. I use aweber.com for my autoresponder services and recommend you do the same. Here is the outline for using your autoresponder to create campaigns that will sell products for you consistently.

Tip #1. Place a sign-up box on every website you own to capture email addesses from your prospects.

Offer them a FREE report or eBook for signing up to your new newsletter.

You will use this newsletter to 'broadcast' news, special offers, discounts and clearance sales to your 'active' list of prospects at different times as needed. A good tip is to keep your prospect audience 'on the hook' and always receptive to your email messages. Build good rapport with your subscribers.

By capturing as many email addresses as you can and broadcasting a newsletter to your customers on a frequent basis (once every 2 to 3 weeks is O.K. for most businesses), you will increase your sales and profits.

Tip #2. When sending out a broadcast, give your prospective customers a FREE offer that complements the product or service that you are promoting in the email.

This could be a FREE eBook or report that might make them more interested in the product that you are selling. Include in the free eBook or report a hyperlink to your product sales page just in case they decide to go ahead and buy your product after reading the FREE eBook or report. You always want to make it as easy as possible for your customers to read, review and purchase your product.

Tip #3. Then in the same email broadcast, give your customers a "preview" of your next email offer. Also include a line or two about the next FREE bonus offer that will accompany your upcoming email to interest them and set up your next product mailing.

It all comes down to meeting the expectations of your customers. They will know what is coming to their inbox next. Who knows, your customer might already be sold on the next offer as soon as it arrives!

Tip #4. When advertising your product in ezine ads, always give the people that are reading your ad the opportunity to get on your mailing list.

In fact, you should be advertising your product for the purpose of capturing the prospect's email address. You are going to make your sales and profits on the back-end. Avoid trying to sell your product from the ad itself.

To do this, you offer them FREE information, and MORE DETAILS about the product that you are promoting in your ad. Then have the prospect send a blank email to your autoresponder. Follow-up using your autoresponder with a message of your choice that includes the promised information. Also add these prospects to your newsletter mailing list.

Refer to the instructions at your autoresponder service on how to make the hyperlink to your autoresponder and how to organize your new email addresses.

Email marketing makes you more money when it is done right. Follow the tips above and cash in on your company's new email marketing strategies with ease.

Now you have a way to get people to see your offers at a minimal cost. And you have built up a high level of trust and loyalty with your subscribers. Plus in the eyes of your customers, you always overdeliver. That's a triple winning combination for your marketing mix. And you did it all automatically!
